The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) recently commissioned Milliman to study the potential amount of undisclosed flood risk in 25 states by estimating the total number of homes damaged by prior flooding. Milliman’s analysis for NRDC was developed using the flood and storm surge models, federal flood exposure and loss data, and single-family home property characteristics from the Milliman Market Basket.
