Rong Yi, PhD, is a principal at Milliman and oversees the firm's Data Science Modeling Practice. Experience
Throughout the years, Rong has made significant contributions to risk adjustment, predictive modeling, and other innovative analytic methods, both in the US and internationally, including risk adjustment programs to support local, national, and international health reforms, such as Medicaid managed care, the uncompensated risk pool, the ACA market, private health exchanges, the German office-based physicians union, and the Greater China market. The risk adjustment and predictive models she developed have been widely used in the industry for budgeting, resource allocation, provider profiling, payment reform, and program evaluations.
