Experience

Charlotte joined Milliman in 2023 with over 20 years’ experience in general insurance and is an actuary. Charlotte has been building high-growth insurtech MGA businesses for the last 15 years. She has held key executive roles in market-changing insurtech business from the start-up stage to the Unicorn round and/or sale. She has real-world experience in what it takes to build successful innovative businesses, products, and partnerships in the EU and US. Charlotte has launched products, grown significant portfolios, built high-performing teams, and managed major partnerships. She is experienced in the realities of raising funds and managing teams through change and acquisition. She has held regulatory roles and managed innovative data science solutions. Charlotte is well-known across the insurance industry for her drive for insurance innovation. She loves to champion positive insurance evolution in a fast-changing world and in companies with a real vision to shout about. She is connected to a wide insurtech network of experts and is a regular speaker at events.

Milliman insurtech services support successful insurance innovation across the industry. We work with insurtechs, insurtech partners, carriers, funding partners, and (re)insurance entities creating technology-driven solutions and products. We help with the build, control mechanisms, and success measurement of your insurance technology solution.

Before joining Milliman, Charlotte spent 15 years revolutionising insurance solutions in the pet insurance, motor telematics, and household insurance industries. She most recently served as the Chief Underwriting Officer of the insurtech unicorn, ManyPets, and was notably also a founding team member of black-box pioneer insurethebox.
